Michael W. Middleton, born in Houston, Texas, received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1973 from Sam Houston State University. He received his law degree from St. Mary’s University Law School in 1983. Mr. Middleton was awarded his designation as a Certified Public Accountant in 1976, and practiced public accounting for seven years prior to attending law school.
Mr. Middleton began practicing law in Bryan/College Station in 1983. The focus of his practice is in estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, business organizations, probate litigation, and real estate.
Mr. Middleton has been Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1991. He is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Texas, the United States District Court (Southern District of Texas), United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Middleton is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and numerous other professional organizations. Mr. Middleton has served on several committees of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
