Current Openings: 

Middleton & Middleton is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant. This full-time position is well-suited for an individual beginning a professional career who is interested in gaining experience in a law office. Prior legal experience is not required; training will be provided.

Position Overview

The Office Assistant serves as a first point of contact for the firm and plays a key role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment. This position requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the firm’s attorneys and legal assistants, responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients and answering telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Managing appointment calendars and assisting with scheduling
  • Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic client files
  • Scanning, copying, and preparing documents
  • Processing daily mail and email correspondence
  • Maintaining conference rooms, kitchen, and front office areas
  • Ordering and monitoring office supplies
  • Performing occasional out-of-office tasks, including mailings, courthouse filings, and local deliveries
  • Providing general administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Prior administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Legal office experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation

Hourly pay and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
